The press service of the Ministry of Culture reported that the main goal of the major renovation is to create a modern sound studio space using Dolby Atmos technology, which is one of the most advanced in the global film industry.
This project will provide Kyrgyz filmmakers with the opportunity to achieve a high level of sound design for films that meets international standards, as well as significantly expand post-production capabilities for both domestic and joint international film projects.
The official statement emphasizes that the implementation of the project will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of Kyrgyz cinema, enhancing the export potential of national film production, and attracting foreign partners.
This initiative is part of the state policy aimed at developing creative industries and modernizing the material and technical base of cultural institutions.
As a result of the project work, a phased reconstruction plan for the sound editing building will be developed, and the studio will be equipped with modern professional equipment.
