At the meeting of the parliamentary groups "Ala-Too" and "Eldik," held on January 30, Deputy Azamat Isirailov raised an important issue regarding migrants who have been working outside of Kyrgyzstan, particularly in Russia, for decades, sometimes even 30 years.

He emphasized that these individuals make a significant contribution to the economy of their country and therefore deserve support. "It is necessary to provide them with the opportunity to make social contributions of 1-2 thousand soms, based on their capabilities, so that they can accumulate work experience," Isirailov noted and called for further exploration of this issue.

In response to his proposal, Minister of Labor, Social Welfare, and Migration Kanat Sagynbaev reported on the completion of a pilot project that allows migrants to start businesses in their homeland with partial government support.

He added that the program, initiated in 2023, has shown positive results, and a new program is currently being developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, which will be implemented in the near future.
