The Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration Kanat Sagynbaev visited crisis centers that provide assistance to women and children who have become victims of violence on January 27.

During his visit, Sagynbaev, along with the Vice Mayor of the capital Bishkek, Viktoria Mozgacheva, familiarized themselves with the work of the municipal crisis center "Ayalzat." Here, social and psychological support is provided for victims of gender-based and domestic violence. According to the center's management, assistance was provided to 281 individuals in 2024-2025, including 96 women and 185 children. The center offers services such as temporary accommodation, psychological support, social assistance, legal consultations, and referrals to specialized services.

Additionally, the minister visited the "Single Window" Center, which was established with the support of the Ministry of Labor. This center offers comprehensive assistance to individuals who have become victims of sexual violence and human trafficking, including psychological, medical, social, and legal support in safe and confidential conditions.

Sagynbaev emphasized the importance of supporting and expanding the network of crisis centers as one of the key areas of state policy aimed at protecting the rights of women and children, as well as preventing violence.

As part of the state social order, the Ministry of Labor has launched a social project focused on assisting women and girls who have suffered from domestic violence and human trafficking. A 24-hour hotline 5200 has also been initiated, where citizens can receive free, anonymous, and confidential assistance.
