On January 30, 2026, a presentation of a new publication — the "Russian-Kyrgyz Dictionary of Terms in the Field of International Relations and Diplomacy" — took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Chairman of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Melis Murataliev, as well as employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the National Commission.
In his opening speech, Kulubaev emphasized the practical significance of this publication. He noted that the dictionary would be a useful tool for both diplomats and civil servants, as well as for the general public, highlighting its role in the unification of international terminology in the Kyrgyz language.
The Minister expressed confidence that the dictionary would be actively used in the work of various structures of the Ministry, as well as in foreign institutions and specialized universities.
The Chairman of the National Commission, Melis Murataliev, spoke about the activities of the commission, emphasizing the importance of popularizing the state language within the framework of the concept "National Spirit — Global Heights," and noted how the new publication contributes to the development of Kyrgyz diplomacy.
He added that the state language is one of the main symbols of statehood, alongside the flag and the coat of arms, and emphasized that all citizens of Kyrgyzstan bear responsibility for its preservation and development. In this context, Murataliev noted the important role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a key state body promoting the Kyrgyz language and culture on the international stage.
Participants were also introduced to the digital initiatives of the National Commission, such as the "Aitil" platform and the "Kyrgyzcha O'noy" mobile application, which aim to facilitate the study of the Kyrgyz language. Additionally, the operation of the portal document.gov.kg was demonstrated, providing access to unified templates of official documents in the state language for civil servants and citizens.
