
In 2025, the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" achieved a volume of completed work amounting to 1.37 billion soms, which is 325.6 million soms higher than the figures for 2024. The first deputy mayor of Bishkek, Mirlanbek Baigonchokov, presented a report on the results of work in the housing and communal services sector.
According to him, the area of sanitary cleaning in the city was increased to 11.1 million square meters, and the volume of work in this area amounted to 1.21 billion soms, which is 321.5 million soms more compared to the previous year. The number of subscribers using solid waste collection services reached 1.04 million people, with revenues totaling 913.9 million soms, exceeding the planned 804.8 million soms and corresponding to 113.6% of the target.
As part of greening and improvement efforts, 18,755 seedlings of trees and shrubs were planted in the city in 2025, which is 7,966 more than the previous year. Additionally, 1,586,001 annual flowers, 8,210 rose bushes, and 229,380 tulip bulbs were planted.
The cleaning of the riverbeds of the Alamedin and Ala-Archa rivers was also included in the list of completed works, during which about 107,000 tons of garbage and sediment were removed. Improvement works were carried out in the "Government" square at the intersection of Chortekova and Jaiyl Baatyr streets, and an irrigation well was constructed over an area of 8 hectares.
In 2025, the municipal enterprise "Bishkeksvet" carried out extensive work on modernizing the city's lighting system. A total of 1,161 lamps were replaced, nearly 280 km of self-isolated wires were laid, and 18,571 LED lights were installed, including 6,815 as part of capital construction. Additionally, 1,329 lighting poles were installed, significantly improving the quality of street lighting in the city.
Furthermore, as part of the modernization of the municipal elevator system, contracts were signed in 2025 for the supply and installation of 100 elevators, with replacements completed at 36 sites.
In the area of water supply and sewage in 2025, a comprehensive set of works was carried out amounting to 354.0 million soms, resulting in the reconstruction of a sewage network spanning 1.41 km and the construction or replacement of 18.9 km of water supply networks. This improved the reliability of engineering systems and enhanced the quality of water supply in some areas of the capital.
Baigonchokov also added that important projects were completed and continued, including the expansion and commissioning of the "Bashkara-Suu" water intake, as well as ongoing work to strengthen the "Orto-Alysh" water intake. The construction of a local water intake for the southern zone of the city cost 48.5 million soms and was fully implemented. In addition, the modernization of the "HBO" water intake, costing 113.0 million soms, has been completed, and the facility is now being prepared for commissioning.
