At the meeting, prosecutor Kubanychbek Nurullaev noted that in recent years there has been an increase in the number of crimes committed by teenagers, as well as crimes against minors and cases of domestic violence.
He emphasized the need for parental control over the upbringing of children and their leisure activities. “As the district prosecutor, I address you with important issues. The first is the upbringing of children. Analyzing data from 2025, it can be observed that the number of crimes committed by minors in the At-Bashinsky district has increased, as well as cases of violence against children. Many of us, while focusing on household and financial problems, forget about the main thing — our children,” the prosecutor stated.
In his opinion, the reason for the rise in crime lies in the insufficient control over how children spend their free time and a lack of attention to the upbringing process. “It is important for parents to monitor their children's education, upbringing, and what they do in their free time. Studies show that even teenagers from affluent and well-off families can commit offenses such as theft and car theft. This raises serious concerns for us,” he added.
