During the meeting, the director of the Cinematography Department, Talantbek Tolobekov, and the head of the studio, Maksat Jumayev, provided a report on the progress of the restoration work.
According to the department's information, the restoration of elevators has already been completed, and updates are ongoing in the offices of directors, producers, and artists, as well as the procurement of new furniture.
The work continues both in the cinema hall and in the old building, where specialized filming locations and stage spaces are being created.
Mirbek Mambetaliev instructed the Cinematography Department and its subordinate institutions to ensure the quality and timely completion of the renovation, as well as to strengthen control over the targeted use of budget funds. Additionally, the minister emphasized the need to accelerate the modernization of infrastructure and create favorable conditions for the development of domestic film production.
