At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 18, deputy Dastan Bekeshev raised the issue that state mortgages are becoming increasingly inaccessible for citizens.

He emphasized that the government should develop a support program for orphans who, after leaving orphanages, face challenges related to housing and education. "What happens to them after graduation? What housing options do they have? Yes, they receive a deposit from childhood, but this is not enough to obtain a state mortgage. One should not rely on a state mortgage in their case. I ask you to consider this issue comprehensively," he added.

Bekeshev also inquired about how the authorities intend to provide housing for citizens. "Let's be honest: the state mortgage is inaccessible for most, prices are rising. Socially vulnerable groups, people with disabilities, and orphans cannot take advantage of state mortgages. It is necessary to have a stable income. And what about those who do not have it? How can they live? I believe the state must intervene. Let's build houses and dormitories for them. The state mortgage is developing, but it is becoming increasingly inaccessible due to inflation," the deputy concluded, urging the government to discuss this issue.
