34-year-old Kenesh Temirov, originally from the Nookat district of the Osh region, is now taking his first steps in charity work in America.

When he was just seven years old, his family moved to Naryn, where his parents began trading. In Naryn, he graduated from Chkalov School, where his two sons currently study. After finishing high school, he enrolled in the law department of the college at the Kyrgyz National University.

In 2012, Kenesh completed his studies at the police academy in Osh and began his career in law enforcement. Initially, he worked in the security department, then in the patrol service of the Naryn region. In 2016, he was transferred to the criminal investigation department, but later became a juvenile inspector in the Aitmatov district of the Talas region. In 2022, he decided to leave the service.

In December of the same year, Temirov moved to Chicago. Since relocating, he has been actively working and blogging about the life of the Kyrgyz diaspora in the USA. Initially, he started making videos to share his experience of obtaining a driver's license, facing difficulties due to the language barrier. Questions arose on his social media, and he answered them with video content that quickly gained popularity.

Later, when the Kyrgyz community in Chicago began raising funds to purchase a mosque, he joined other bloggers who were already creating similar content. "I was amazed by the generosity of people, many of whom prioritized helping others even while having large families. Some donated money on behalf of their families, while others gave their cars," Kenesh noted, adding that the funds were raised quite quickly.

In addition, he mentioned other charitable initiatives, including assistance in transporting the bodies of Kyrgyz citizens who passed away in the USA back to their homeland. There are many Kyrgyz cafes in Chicago, so he has no issues with food.

"Here, it's easier for lonely people to find a partner, various events are held for the diaspora, and attending them makes you feel at home," he shared. Time in America flies by quickly, and now Kenesh also rents a truck for work, adhering to a maintenance schedule. Every month, he participates in the activities of the "Sak bol" community, raising funds for charity in Kyrgyzstan.

His dream is to gain experience in the USA, save money, and return to Kyrgyzstan to start a business that will bring something new to his country.
