Nephrologist Nasir Beishebaev, who was detained, is now under house arrest. This was reported by his lawyer Evgenia Krapivina.
This decision was made by the court of the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek.
As is known, Beishebaev was detained on February 18. The mother of one of the underage patients of the NCOMiD filed a complaint with law enforcement, claiming that due to the doctor's actions, her daughter underwent a leg amputation. In this regard, a criminal case was initiated under the article on negligence.
After the doctor's arrest, he received support from the NCOMiD staff, other medical workers, and residents of Kyrgyzstan. They noted that Beishebaev has many years of experience and pointed out the delayed appeal of the mother to the hospital and the fact that the amputation was performed in Turkey.
