As it became known, the village of Belovodskoye serves as the district center of the Narzan rural district. The sports complex "Urozhay," which was built during the Soviet era and had not been used for a long time, was transferred to the balance of the rural administration in 2022.
"Previously, this sports complex was managed by the Ministry of Culture. As a result of many years of efforts initiated by the district akim, it was transferred to the balance of the rural administration in 2022. By that time, the circular stands were destroyed, the seats were broken, and the facility was in a deplorable state. After the transfer of responsibility to the rural administration, we took on the tasks of restoration. We cleared the territory, carried out the necessary work, built a running track, installed new sports equipment, and laid asphalt. This created comfortable conditions for young athletes," said I. Öskömbayev.
The next step will be the repair of the buildings, which will be financed by a stimulating grant. We strive to carry out this work as efficiently as possible, as one of our main tasks is to care for the health of the population through the organization of various sports events," he added.
He also mentioned some difficulties that require understanding and support from local residents.
"It is rightly noted that 'while you bring the old in order, you will exhaust yourself.' Restoring a destroyed and abandoned stadium is not possible in 1-2 months—it will take time. Unfortunately, various opinions and discussions sometimes arise around our work, including comments on photos and videos. If someone wants to support the development of sports, any help and participation will be very beneficial. It is important to unite and work together for the sake of the people and future generations," he concluded.
