In Bishkek, during a raid, 18 minors were found performing jarmazan









During the raid conducted in Bishkek shortly after 22:00, 54 minors were found without adult supervision. Of these, 18 children were participating in the performance of jarmazan, while 36 remained on the street unaccompanied. According to information from the city hall, the raid took place on February 27 under the leadership of Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva and involved deputies of district heads, social service employees, juvenile inspection officers, as well as representatives of law enforcement agencies.

According to the city hall:

- 6 minors were taken to the internal affairs department for further processing and transfer to their legal parents;

- 4 children were sent to the Psychological-Pedagogical Assistance Center to establish their identities and subsequently transfer them to their legal representatives;

- the remaining minors, after explanatory measures and protocol documentation, were handed over to their legal representatives.

30 protocols were drawn up against the legal representatives in accordance with the KR Code on Offenses.

Additionally, explanatory conversations were held with the administration of cafes and restaurants regarding the prevention of minors being unaccompanied by adults.

The city hall calls on residents and guests of the city to be responsible and not leave children without adult supervision.
