The main report was presented by Zhyldyz Derkembaeva, the chief freelance specialist in anesthesiology and resuscitation, a candidate of medical sciences, and an associate professor. She presented key performance indicators of the service, issues with staffing, and the level of medical equipment.
Minister Osmonov noted that the development of the anesthesiology and resuscitation service is a critically important aspect of the healthcare system, as this service is responsible for treating the most severe patients and supporting surgical assistance.

Following the discussion, the minister made several recommendations to the relevant departments of the Ministry of Health:
- conduct a comprehensive analysis of the staffing of the anesthesiology and resuscitation service by regions and prepare proposals for improving the qualifications and retraining of specialists;
- ensure control over the effective use of high-tech medical equipment in healthcare institutions;
- strengthen monitoring of the work of resuscitation and intensive care units.
