Trolleybuses play a key role in creating transport infrastructure, providing environmentally friendly mobility and taking into account the needs of all residents, including people with limited mobility and children.In honor of this anniversary date, a festive event is planned, organized by the initiative #Bishkek Smog.
Among the honored guests will be employees of the trolleybus management, and everyone who has worked in the field of electric mobility is invited to join the celebration!
Event Program
Part One: Round Table with Experts- 17:00-17:15 - Welcome speech from representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the KR, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the KR, as well as the Bishkek City Hall (to be confirmed).
- 17:15-17:30 - "History and Modernity of Urban Electric Transport" - presentation by researcher Yegor Muleev from the Leibniz Institute of Regional Geography in Leipzig (online).
- 17:30-17:45 - Presentation by Professor Ángel Aparicio from UNDP KR about the electric mobility project. He has been teaching at the Faculty of Transport of the Technical University of Madrid since 2009 (online, with translation into English).
- 17:45-18:00 - Speeches from representatives of the UN OHCHR, EBRD, ADB, and "Bir Duyno - Kyrgyzstan" (to be confirmed).
- 18:00-18:30 - Q&A session.
- 18:30-18:50 - Quiz on electric transport.
- 18:50-19:30 - Musical gift and thanks to the veterans of the trolleybus management.
