In the call center Kaktus.media, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan contacted us regarding his driver's license obtained outside the country. "I am a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, but my license was issued in 1991. Currently, it is impossible to replace it, as I studied in Ukraine during the USSR era," he reported.

Representatives of the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing under the Presidential Administration Kaktus.media explained that licenses issued before January 1, 1992, in former Soviet republics marked with SU are subject to exchange through the standard procedure. "To do this, it is necessary to visit our office, where we will digitize the certificate of completion from the driving school and the original driver's license. A medical certificate in form No. 083 will also be required. After digitization, the process of replacing the license will be carried out on general grounds. Unfortunately, the citizen who contacted us does not qualify for the promotion that is valid from January 15 to February 15," the press service added.
