The certificate was required for the exchange of indefinite driver's licenses
As of January 19 of this year, the medical certificate form 083 will be canceled in the "Tunduk" system. This was announced by Kanibek Tumanbaev, the head of the president's office.
During a visit to the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing, where the exchange of driver's licenses takes place, the official shared the new changes.
He had previously mentioned that the exchange of indefinite driver's licenses would now be possible without this certificate.
While communicating with citizens, Tumanbaev explained the necessity of replacing documents: old driver's licenses do not have a digital version and are not recognized by several neighboring countries, and they also have deficiencies in the protection system. In this regard, the authorities of Kyrgyzstan decided to implement this reform.
According to Kanibek Tumanbaev, the new licenses will be equipped with more modern security features, which will simplify the work of road safety officials.
He noted: "Previously, certificate 083 was requested automatically in the 'Tunduk' system. From January 19, this requirement will be canceled, allowing citizens to process the exchange of driver's licenses online."
For those whose licenses do not appear in the "Tunduk" system, Tumanbaev recommended visiting in person to replace the documents.
