Ibragimov raised the question of what basis such lengthy periods were established. This was answered by the director of the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Training, Tynychbek Saidov, who explained that the decision was made to improve the quality of knowledge among future drivers. However, Saidov was unable to specify in which other countries similar timeframes are in effect.
According to Ibragimov, "if I'm not mistaken, such lengthy periods do not exist anywhere in the world. The reasons for traffic accidents lie in years of corruption. Now we are forcing people to undergo training for 10 to 12 months. Previously, they simply bought driver's licenses, and the blame lies with the state, not with those who will now be trained. These timeframes need to be reconsidered; they are absolutely unjustified," the deputy noted.
