“To ensure the security of our state, a law is required that will regulate the possibility of traveling abroad for individuals with access to state secrets,” noted Bapi.
The deputy also proposed to implement a system of preliminary "border control" or to establish a "red flag" for such individuals as Nazarbayev and Kairat Kozhamzharov. He pointed out that the former president's trip to Moscow could be perceived as pressure on the state authorities and the public of Kazakhstan. Later, in response to questions from the media, Bapi added that he does not see any political benefit for the country in these events.
“I pity the person who could not find support at home. Now he has to seek support abroad. This is a tragedy for the former president,” the deputy concluded.
