According to the press service, during the visit he interacted with citizens and explained how they can obtain this service.
Earlier in a live broadcast, Tumanbaev clarified that it is no longer necessary to provide a medical certificate in form 083 for the replacement of indefinite driver's licenses.
During his speech at "Unaa," he explained the necessity of updating indefinite licenses. According to him, old licenses do not have a digital format and are not recognized in some neighboring countries, which creates difficulties when using these documents abroad. Therefore, the transition to new samples is an important measure to legalize licenses and comply with international standards.
He also noted that old indefinite driver's licenses have insufficient security features. Many of them contain outdated photographs, which complicates the identification process and creates risks of abuse, as the license may be used by someone other than the rightful owner. The new documents have improved security characteristics, which reduces the likelihood of such incidents and simplifies the work of road safety officials.
Tumanbaev also reported that in the "Tündük" system, a medical certificate in form 083 was previously automatically requested when applying for document replacement. For the convenience of citizens, starting from January 19, this requirement will be canceled, allowing applications for the replacement of old-style driver's licenses to be submitted online from home.
He urged citizens to follow the established rules of engagement to avoid long queues:
- Those whose driver's licenses are not digitized and do not appear in the "Tündük" system must visit the center to replace documents;
- Those whose licenses are visible in the "Tündük" system are recommended to apply for replacement online, without visiting the center.
