During the training conducted by experienced KFS mentors Artem Skopintsev and Sergey Grishchenko, participants were presented with the theoretical part. The program included a detailed explanation of the VAR protocol, the principles of the system's operation, and the algorithms for interaction between the main referee and the video assistants. Special attention was paid to the analysis of game situations and the correct decision-making using video replays.
Sixteen young referees from various regions of Kyrgyzstan participated in the seminar, preparing for the implementation of the VAR system in national competitions.
The main objective of the course is to deepen the theoretical knowledge of referees, prepare them for working with VAR, and create a common understanding of officiating standards in accordance with international norms. Organizing such courses represents an important step in the development and modernization of football officiating in Kyrgyzstan.
