A Bishkek resident has been fighting for her children for almost two years after their father subjected them to violence

A woman has turned to the Ombudsman and Kamchybek Tashiev for support

Ayjamal Janibekova, a resident of the capital, has sent an appeal to Ombudsman Jamilya Jamambaeva and the head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev, as well as to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the UN, asking for protection for her children from their father. She published her plea on Facebook.

According to her, it has been almost two years since she began her fight for her children's rights. They have been subjected to violence, and despite having 7 protection orders, conclusions from psychologists and experts, as well as interrogation protocols and a court decision to deprive the father of parental rights, the criminal case continues to drag on.

The woman believes that relatives and friends of her husband are involved in this process, using their connections in law enforcement to delay the case, and for this reason, she is appealing to the authorities for help.
