Ecological monitoring is being conducted in the area
In order to assess the impact of the waste processing plant on the environmental situation in Bishkek, comprehensive monitoring is being carried out. This information was provided by the Department of Ecological Monitoring, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On January 19, 2026, a team of specialists took samples of industrial emissions at the site of the plant located at the Bishkek city sanitary landfill.
The main objective of this research is to analyze the impact of this enterprise on the environment.
During the monitoring process, laboratory studies are conducted on indicators such as nitrogen oxide, sulfur oxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, and suspended particles (dust).
Additionally, on January 16, 2026, a comprehensive monitoring was carried out in the vicinity of the plant: additional samples of air, soil, and water were collected from the Ala-Archa reservoir.
To minimize any potential negative impact on the ecology, regular ecological monitoring is planned to be conducted monthly.
