The Department of Environmental Monitoring of the Ministry of Natural Resources conducted sampling of industrial emissions at the waste processing plant located on the territory of the Bishkek city sanitary landfill. This was reported by the ministry's press service.

According to the information, the main goal of the analysis is to assess the impact of this enterprise on the surrounding nature.

“During the monitoring process, laboratory studies are conducted on a number of indicators, including nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, and suspended particles (dust). A comprehensive analysis was also carried out in the area adjacent to the enterprise: additional samples of atmospheric air, soil, and water from the Ala-Archa reservoir were collected. To prevent potential negative impacts on the environment, further regular environmental monitoring is planned, which will be conducted monthly,” the statement said.
