To restore the accuracy of the clock, it is necessary to completely replace the mechanism, and the work will be carried out on both clock faces. Significant wear has also been noted on the side of Chuy Avenue: the mechanism is still functioning but requires updating, as noted by "Kyrgyztelecom."
At the moment, the company has already purchased the necessary mechanisms and has begun their replacement. After the work is completed, the clock will operate normally again.

The clock, located in the center of Bishkek, was installed during the construction of the OJSC "Kyrgyztelecom" complex in 1984. The clock mechanism was sent from Armenia as a sign of friendship during Soviet times. Every hour, the chimes sound from 08:00 to 21:00, and at 07:58 the national anthem of Kyrgyzstan plays, while at noon the music "Emgek marshy" is played.
