Germany is ready to expand investment cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

Negotiations of Deputy Minister of Economy Sultan Akhmatov with German representatives



During the meeting between the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Sultan Akhmatov, and Niklas Wagner, an official from the German Foreign Ministry responsible for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia, as well as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Kyrgyzstan, Monika Lenhard, the possibility of attracting investments from Germany was discussed.

The main goal of the negotiations was to explore options for deepening trade and economic cooperation and implementing joint projects in areas such as industry and other important sectors of the economy.

Particular attention was paid during the meeting to issues of youth training, including the creation of vocational education programs involving German partners. Additionally, aspects of the green economy were discussed, emphasizing interest in implementing sustainable environmental projects and introducing modern technologies.

At the end of the negotiations, the parties assured each other of their commitment to deepen economic cooperation and continue discussing specific investment initiatives. The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere and outlined new growth directions for interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
