Recently, an online conference was held at the Ministry of Health, gathering Kyrgyzstani medical professionals working abroad — in countries such as Germany, the USA, the UK, Russia, and the Middle Eastern states.

The event was led by Deputy Ministers Bakytbek Kadyraliev and Temirbek Erkinov, as reported by the ministry's press center.

The main objective of the meeting was to exchange experiences, discuss international medical practices, prepare personnel, digitize the healthcare system, and explore opportunities for compatriots abroad to contribute to the development of medicine in Kyrgyzstan.

During the discussion, participants shared their experiences working in leading global medical institutions and proposed ideas for improving the healthcare system in the country. Among the suggested innovations were modern technologies such as bronchoscopy and NGS diagnostics, the implementation of digital solutions, as well as improvements in the fields of oncology, pulmonology, transplantology, anesthesiology, hemodialysis, and mobile clinics, simplification of licensing, and training for doctors.

Most of the proposals addressed the issue of staff shortages.
Participants expressed a desire to support the training of specialists from Kyrgyzstan, organize internships, conduct lectures, and attract professors for surgeries and master classes.

Additionally, the question of creating conditions for specialists to return to the country and participate in professional projects was raised.
The deputy ministers noted that the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan views the attraction of foreign specialists as an important resource for the development of healthcare and plans to systematically organize platforms for experience exchange. Measures discussed included holding in-person and online meetings in countries with a high concentration of Kyrgyz doctors, opportunities to speak at the Mirakhimov Readings, and participation in digital and personnel reforms.

"The shortage of medical personnel is one of the main challenges for our country. We are open to cooperation and will seek practical solutions to attract experience, knowledge, and technologies in the interests of our patients," emphasized Bakytbek Kadyraliev.

The format of such meetings will become regular.

"The Ministry of Health will continue its work to create conditions for the participation of foreign specialists in scientific, educational, and clinical activities, including internship programs, expert support, and the repatriation of medical personnel," the agency added.
