The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has launched a new social project as part of the state social order aimed at supporting women and girls who have become victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.

According to the agency, a 24/7 hotline 5200 is now operational, created for prompt and quality response to cases of violence and human trafficking.

By calling 5200, citizens can expect free, anonymous, and confidential support. The hotline is staffed by qualified psychologists and consultants who have undergone special training in crisis situations and psychological assistance, the ministry reported.

The hotline is available 24/7 throughout the Kyrgyz Republic via all mobile operators.

The main functions of the hotline include:

• providing psychological assistance to victims of violence and exploitation;

• informing about available services and legal protection measures;

• consultations on medical assistance, legal support, and safe shelter;

• assistance to relatives and witnesses of violence cases.

“Every call matters. If you have become a victim of violence or have witnessed such events — do not hesitate to call 5200,” the ministry emphasized.
