This was reported by the city administration. The document states that the new line will run along Aaly Tokombaev Avenue, starting from the 12th microdistrict, and will then continue along Kyiv Street to the Osh market. “The procedure for implementing construction activities and selecting routes will be determined in the next stages of design, including the development of a feasibility study for the tram lines,” the city administration added. Residents of the city also proposed creating a tram line that would cover the entire territory of the city. However, the municipality responded that according to the General Plan, tram lines will be laid in directions with the highest passenger traffic, which will connect the main areas with high residential density and the city center. In this regard, it was noted that a tram line running around the city would not be able to effectively meet the needs of passenger transportation, as explained by representatives of the department.
