Local authorities emphasize that the tram will become an important element for the development of public transport in Bishkek and will help reduce the load on the street network of the capital.
In accordance with the master plan, tram lines will be organized on a dedicated track, which, combined with the use of high-capacity rolling stock, will increase the carrying capacity of the tram line threefold compared to trolleybuses.
