He stated: “Criticizing deputies is an ineffective approach that brings no benefit. Deputies represent the interests of the people and have the right to openly voice their problems and important issues. We support the executive branch in adopting necessary bills; however, it must also respect the parliament,” the Speaker added.
He also emphasized that the main task of all branches of government is to promote unity in the country and ensure the well-being of its citizens.
“I hope that the executive branch will take into account all the remarks made. The parliament should never be perceived as a formal body without a voice. It has always played and will continue to play an important role in the system of state power,” he concluded.
It is worth noting that earlier, Kunduzbek Suimanov, the head of the “Mekenchil” deputy group, responded to the criticism of the deputies, emphasizing that their remarks are aimed at identifying shortcomings in the work of the executive authorities to enhance their effectiveness.
