At the meeting, the speaker highlighted key tasks aimed at improving the efficiency of the parliament's work. In particular, he emphasized issues of digitalization and modernization of internal processes.
As Marlen Mamataliyev noted, the legislative process and document management still widely use paper, which requires a change in approaches to work.
“We realize that there is still significant use of paper in legislative activities and document management. This creates a need to reduce its consumption and focus on digitalization,” he emphasized.
The speaker instructed to intensify efforts to implement modern digital solutions and optimize document management in the parliament.
Marlen Mamataliyev was elected as the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, receiving support from 77 deputies, while five opposed his candidacy.
