The signing ceremony took place at the presidential administration, where representatives of the government and the aviation company reached an agreement to purchase two Airbus A321ceo aircraft. This information was published by the press service of the cabinet.

The document was signed by Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," and Steve Zissis, CEO of BBAM Aircraft Leasing & Management.

Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that the agreements reached were the result of open dialogue and trust between the parties, and the use of these modern aircraft will significantly improve the level of civil aviation in Kyrgyzstan.

He also noted that from 2021 to 2025, there has been significant growth: the number of passengers served at airports increased by 52%, and the number of flights performed rose by 53%. While in 2021 there were five airports operating in the country, now all airports in Kyrgyzstan are operational.

President of Airbus Europe Johan Pelissier expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that a productive dialogue has been established between representatives of Kyrgyzstan's aviation industry and Airbus for the implementation of joint projects. He also confirmed readiness for further cooperation to develop the country's aviation sector.

It is important to note that the delivery of the Airbus A321ceo aircraft to OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" is scheduled for the end of 2026.

These aircraft acquisitions are aimed at supporting the national airline "Asman Airlines," which is a subsidiary of "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," with the goal of enhancing passenger comfort, strengthening flight safety, and expanding the route network on the international stage.
