Civil servants of Kyrgyzstan completed training at MEPhI on cybersecurity of the CSTO
Civil servants of Kyrgyzstan received certificates in the professional development program in "Information Security of Automated Systems." The training took place at the National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" in Russia, as part of the initiative of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

During his speech, Adilet Orozbekov noted that modern digital technologies are penetrating all key areas of public administration, including the economy, healthcare, and defense. He emphasized that the rapid development of digitalization brings not only opportunities but also serious challenges that require attention. To address these issues, the CSTO focuses on the joint protection of the information space.

One of the main tools in this area is the operation "PROXY," which includes operational and preventive measures to combat content that threatens national and allied interests. This includes fighting cybercrime, illegal drug and arms trafficking, money laundering, human trafficking, and the spread of malicious software.

The first International Conference of the CSTO on cybersecurity, held in Kyrgyzstan in May 2025, laid the foundation for further actions in this area. The awarding of certificates to MEPhI graduates was an important step in implementing the strategy to create a qualified personnel reserve to ensure the country's cybersecurity.
