Sadyr Japarov congratulated the women of the country on International Women's Day

Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, congratulated women on March 8 — International Women's Day.

“Dear mothers and dear sisters! Esteemed women of Kyrgyzstan,

I sincerely congratulate you on this wonderful holiday!”

In the culture of our people, rooted in deep antiquity, important values that define relationships in the family — between men and women, parents and children — have been formed based on traditions and customs. These traditions have become an unwritten rule. Folk sayings passed down from generation to generation emphasize the high status of women: “A man is the protector of the home and the support of the people, while a woman is grace and the foundation of family happiness,” “With a good wife, a husband is good,” “A mother's milk is sacred.” These wise words confirm that a woman has always held a high and honorable position. Her care, wisdom, and kindness ensured the strength of the family and the stability of society.

Therefore, our people have always shown special respect for women. Famous mothers, such as Chiyyrdy, Kanykey, and Aychurok, made significant contributions to the fate of our nation. In Kyrgyz culture, there is a deep belief: “Mother is sacred, daughter is precious.” This approach to welcoming a daughter, treating her as a guest, and providing her with an honorable place is a vivid testament to our national values.

In the context of globalization, it is important to preserve our traditions. Regardless of changes in the world, the moral foundations left to us by our ancestors, including respect for women, must never be forgotten. After all, the path to a bright future begins with the upbringing we receive from our mothers. A people that honors its mother and respects its father will never tolerate humiliation.

The state also highly values women as guardians of the home, continuers of the lineage, and an important resource for the development of society, providing them with support in all areas. We are proud of Kyrgyz women who make significant contributions to education, science, culture, medicine, entrepreneurship, and public administration. In our time's history, names like Kakish Ryskulova, Batys Salieva, Toktogon Altybasarova, Zuurakan Kainazarova, Telegey Sagymbaeva, Tenti Adysheva, and Külüyppy Konduchalova have glorified the Kyrgyz people and highlighted the importance of women's roles in society. These outstanding individuals continue the traditions of wise mothers and demonstrate the strength, intelligence, and potential of Kyrgyz women.

Today, many women, following the example of their great predecessors, are achieving success and making significant contributions to the development of the country.

We must continue to adhere to the respectful attitude and values passed down to us by our ancestors, which have contributed to the emergence of respected women. We recognize that returning to our roots and traditions leads to an increase in the status of women, honoring mothers, and respecting daughters.

Dear women of Kyrgyzstan!

I wish you happiness and well-being. May there be peace and prosperity in your homes, and may smiles never leave your faces. May your children be happy, and may the lineage continue. Preserve our moral values and remain the support and adornment of our society!

Happy holiday to you!”
