“Aykol was born prematurely. The diagnosis of cerebral palsy was made immediately after birth. My husband initially helped and supported me actively, but over time his attitude worsened, and soon he left the family. I feel like he could never accept our daughter's illness,” Begimai recounts.
After the divorce, the woman decided to move from the village to Bishkek to provide her daughter with the necessary care and treatment.

Aykol has a number of complex diagnoses and needs help.
“In the village, I earned a living by baking buns and selling them in stores. In Bishkek, I got a job as a hairdresser in a beauty salon. Here I earn more, but my expenses have also significantly increased,” she shares.
Aykol has undergone two surgeries in Bishkek to correct the deformity of her ankle joint, but unfortunately, they did not yield the desired results.

“I learned that abroad it is possible to perform a more complex but more effective surgery. I started gathering information and contacted doctors in Turkey. They guaranteed that it is possible to correct the clubfoot. The cost of the surgery is $25,000. But I don’t have that kind of money, and I don’t know how to earn it in a short time,” Begimai says.
I decided to raise funds for Aykol's surgery. I ask for help from everyone who can. Every amount is important to us.

Aykol is Begimai's only child. The girl cannot walk and has never been able to do so. Begimai's life is entirely dedicated to helping her daughter stand on her feet. She dreams that her daughter will be able to start walking.
“I really need your support. For all these six years, I have managed all the difficulties that arose with Aykol on my own. She suffered from pain, couldn’t sleep, and I couldn’t either. I am ready to do everything for her; I will always have the strength to help. But I cannot gather such a sum of money. Therefore, putting aside my shame, I turned to kind people for help,” she says.

Begimai has managed to raise 500,000 soms, but this amount is not enough to fully cover the cost of the surgery.
