During his working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev visited the Center for General Medical Practice located in the village of Kyzyl-Suu in the Jeti-Oguz district.

The medical facility consists of 11 buildings, some of which were constructed between 1950 and 1970. Some buildings are in emergency condition, while others require major repairs and updates to engineering systems.

In 2024, it is planned to put into operation a new building of the regional hospital with 60 beds, which will house surgical, pediatric, maternity, and intensive care units. However, the current facilities cannot fully meet the needs of the local population due to high demand.

Following the inspection, Kasymaliev instructed the relevant state authorities to consider the possibility of constructing a new hospital building that would meet modern standards, as well as to create accommodation for medical staff.

As part of his trip, the head of the cabinet also visited the "Jeti-Oguz" sanatorium, which is undergoing major renovations.
The sanatorium has been transferred to the management of the President's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, and significant reconstruction and modernization work is currently underway, including the construction of new facilities and improvement of conditions for vacationers.

The project aims to transform the sanatorium into a modern resort and wellness complex and enhance the quality of services provided.

Completion of all construction work is scheduled for the fall of this year. Kasymaliev instructed to ensure the quality and timely completion of the reconstruction.
