Valentina Matviyenko emphasized that Russia and Kyrgyzstan share a common desire to strengthen strategic and allied partnerships. She noted that the current state of parliamentary interaction between the two countries is satisfactory, both in bilateral formats and on international inter-parliamentary platforms.
In her opinion, Mamataliyev's visit to Russia could serve as a significant impetus for renewing cooperation formats between the parliaments, making them more specific and targeted.
Matviyenko also added that to facilitate economic integration and create a favorable business environment, it is necessary to continue harmonizing legislation between the two countries.
For his part, Marlen Mamataliyev highlighted the importance of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. He expressed his intention to continue developing interaction with Russian entrepreneurs, as well as strengthening ties with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
