On June 10 of this year, prosecutors demanded a 10-year sentence for all defendants under the article "Mass Riots," 15 years under the article "Seizure of Power," and ultimately 20 years with property confiscation.

On June 14, the district court acquitted all defendants, citing the lack of elements of a crime. The prosecution appealed to the Bishkek City Court.

Some materials of the case were classified, and the defense repeatedly pointed out the lack of access to the full volume of the case files. Now, the appellate court has confirmed the decision of the first instance, upholding the acquittal.
