Vladimir Zelensky stated his readiness to meet with Vladimir Putin to discuss issues related to territories and the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. This comment was made by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga during a conversation with journalists.

When the topic of negotiations to end the war, which took place in Abu Dhabi with the participation of delegations from Russia, Ukraine, and the United States, was raised, the minister noted that two irreconcilable issues remain key: territorial disputes and the fate of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

According to Sibiga, Russia demands the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbas, which Ukraine considers unacceptable. In turn, Kyiv insists on the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, while the U.S. proposes joint management of the plant with Russia.

Andriy Sibiga added that Zelensky is ready for dialogue with the Russian president on these important issues.

The continuation of negotiations in Abu Dhabi, involving delegations from Russia, Ukraine, and the U.S., is scheduled for February 1.
