In the Osh police, an investigation has been launched into the case of an attack on a woman by her ex-husband. The incident occurred in the office of the city branch of the Bailiffs Service under the General Prosecutor's Office.

According to information, a resident of Osh, I.A., born in 1993, contacted the bailiff service on February 11 regarding alimony from her ex-husband. "We lived together for 12 years, but due to domestic violence, we separated 3.5 years ago. We have three daughters, and he stopped showing interest in their lives. When I came for alimony, he stated that he was renouncing the children. I suggested he formalize the renunciation with a notary, and we went outside," I.A. said.

On the stairs, her ex-husband approached her from behind and kicked her hard, causing her to fall. After that, he began to beat her, but other women present intervened and helped her. I.A. was taken to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with a fractured coccyx and a lumbar injury. If the test results are satisfactory, she will require surgery. She noted that this is not the first instance of violence from her ex-husband, but she had not previously reported it to the police. After the last incident, she filed a complaint, but believes that the police let him go without detaining him. "I am afraid for my safety," the victim added.

The press service of the Osh Internal Affairs Department reports that I.A. has received a protection order to ensure her safety.

According to law enforcement agencies, on February 11 at 18:10, the Internal Affairs Department received information from a doctor at the Osh City Hospital that I.A. had sought medical assistance for injuries sustained on Kasymbekov Street.

This incident has been registered as a case of domestic violence, and an investigation has been initiated. In her testimony, the victim reported violence from her husband and that she had been beaten. She has been issued a protection order, and a forensic medical examination has been appointed to assess the severity of her injuries.

I.A.'s ex-husband, S.E., born in 1991, was taken to the Ak-Buura police department for questioning by the investigative service.

Currently, the conclusion of the examination is awaited, based on which the necessary procedural decisions will be made.
