According to information from the special service, the operation was conducted jointly with the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as part of efforts to combat corruption in law enforcement agencies.
The detainee was identified as B.M.B., born in 1992. He was investigating a serious crime against the sexual integrity of a minor, committed by a group of individuals, including N.E., S.B., and K.O. Despite the results of the forensic medical examination, which confirmed the involvement of all suspects, the investigator decided to terminate the criminal prosecution against S.B. and K.O.
According to the State National Security Committee, to legitimize his decision, the detained investigator allegedly coerced the minor into giving false testimony in favor of the released defendants.
