
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan previously provided documents for their homes as collateral
The 'Orozaly' pawnshop voluntarily returned property to citizens that was illegally seized. This was reported by the press service of the GKNB.
According to the information from the special services, in the Talas region, after joint actions by the GKNB, the Talas State Tax Service, the regional office of the National Bank, and the Antimonopoly Service, the pawnshop recognized the legitimacy of the claims made and acknowledged violations of Kyrgyz legislation.
As a result, the former owner S.U.U. was returned his residential house in the Talas district. Additionally, 10 other citizens received back documents for their property, which had previously been used as collateral.
The management of the pawnshop also expressed its readiness to return to borrowers the excessively charged interest exceeding 30% per annum, starting from the summer of 2024 and up to the present time. Citizens can address their issues in the established manner.
The 'Orozaly' pawnshop apologized to the victims and committed to working strictly in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the future.
