According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the day of the incident, law enforcement officers were involved in organizing temporary restrictions on movement for pedestrians and vehicles due to the transportation of a suspect in a serious crime under guard.
It is reported that one of the citizens did not comply with the police's demands and attempted to cross the road at the moment when traffic was blocked. In an attempt to quickly remove him from the dangerous area, the man lost his balance and fell. A witness to the incident immediately assisted him and took him to a safe place.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urged citizens to maintain order and comply with the lawful demands of law enforcement officers for the safety of the community.
It was previously reported that the incident occurred on the evening of January 10 at the intersection of Chuy Avenue and Beyshenaliyev Street in Bishkek. The video shows how, during the road closure due to an approaching convoy, the patrol officer pushes pedestrians away from the roadway. One of the men attempting to run across the road fell as a result of contact with the police officer, after which a passerby helped him get up. Later, this man expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the patrol officer.
