A seminar dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation is taking place in Bishkek as part of a scientific and practical conference. This information was provided by the Kyrgyz Football Union.
According to the data, participants are acquiring practical skills in the clinical field under the guidance of qualified international specialists. The seminar focuses primarily on working with joints, such as the knee, ankle, shoulder, and elbow.
The seminar program covers important topics, including conducting clinical examinations, joint mobilization, restoring range of motion, as well as treating pain syndromes and swelling. Additionally, it addresses the functional rehabilitation of athletes after surgical interventions.
The training includes the analysis of clinical cases, demonstration of modern rehabilitation methods (based on the concepts of Mulligan, Maitland, Kaltenborn, PNF, CLT), and the use of advanced physiotherapy technologies.
"The goal of the project is to develop functional rehabilitation based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, deepen clinical thinking, and exchange experiences among local specialists," the statement notes.
Among the organizers of the seminar are the "Murak" rehabilitation center, the Kyrgyz Football Union, and the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KGMA).
