In an interview, fragments of which were published on social media platform X by Fox News correspondent Jackie Heinrich, Trump noted that U.S. allies in the Persian Gulf do not have clear information about Washington's plans regarding Iran.

He emphasized: "I can't share our plan with them. If I did, it would be as bad as if I told you, or maybe even worse. But there is no doubt that we are negotiating with Iran, and we will see if we can achieve any results. If not, then we will watch the situation develop."

Trump also added that an increased number of U.S. naval forces are heading to the region. "A large fleet is currently coming to us, larger than the one off the coast of Venezuela," he noted.

Commenting on allies' views that Iran is always seeking negotiations but the ultimate goal remains unclear, the president agreed with this perspective. "Yes, that's true, they are negotiating, and we'll see what comes of it. The last time there were negotiations, we had to eliminate their nuclear program, but that didn't yield results. Then we acted differently, and we will see how it all turns out," Trump added.
