In his address published on the social network Truth Social, Trump announced the start of a military operation that, according to him, began some time ago. He emphasized that the goal is to protect Americans by eliminating immediate threats from the Iranian regime.

The President noted that the operation aims to destroy Iran's nuclear and missile programs. "Tehran must never possess nuclear weapons," he stressed, adding that the "terrorist regime" will not achieve this goal.

Among the objectives of the operation is the destruction of Iran's missile capabilities and its military infrastructure. Trump stated, "We will destroy their missiles and reduce their industry to zero. It will be completely eliminated."

The American leader also indicated the readiness of the U.S. to attack Iran's naval forces. "We will destroy their fleet," he added.

According to Reuters, strikes against Iran are being carried out from both the air and the sea.

In his speech, Trump also mentioned possible casualties among American servicemen. "We may suffer losses - this is inevitable during war - but we act for the future," he noted.

The President called on the Iranian armed forces to lay down their arms. "The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, armed forces, and police: lay down your weapons immediately — receive full protection, or face inevitable death," he stated.

Trump also addressed the people of Iran, informing them that "the hour of freedom is approaching." "Stay home, the streets are unsafe. After the operation is completed, you will be able to govern your own government. This is your chance for generations," he added.

The Iranian leadership was characterized by the President as "a brutal group of very dangerous people," whose actions threaten the U.S., American military, and their allies. "Bombs will fall everywhere," Trump stated, describing the scale of the operation.
