According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, prior to the start of combat duty, specialists responsible for launch operations, communication, security, and power supply underwent retraining at modern training complexes.

The Ministry of Defense also emphasized that all necessary conditions have been created in Belarus for the deployment of Russian military personnel and ensuring their combat readiness.

Additionally, the ministry presented a video that allegedly captures the missile system. RIA Novosti and TASS reported that this is the first time the "Oreshnik" is being shown to the public.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko noted that no more than ten "Oreshnik" systems will be deployed in the country, and the republic itself will determine the targets for the use of this weapon.

The "Oreshnik" system is the latest Russian medium-range ballistic missile system. Vladimir Putin first mentioned it in November 2024 after a successful missile launch from the Kapustin Yar range to the "Yuzhmash" factory in Dnipro.
