Trump threatens Iran for stopping oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran warned that it would not allow 'a single liter of oil' to be exported from the region

U.S. President Donald Trump warned that if Iran continues to blockade oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, Washington is prepared to deliver significantly more powerful strikes. In his message on the social network Truth Social, he stated: “If Iran takes steps that stop the flow of oil in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States of America will respond with a strike twenty times stronger than before.”

Additionally, Trump noted that the U.S. would target “easily destructible objects,” making Iran's recovery as a state virtually impossible. “Death, fire, and fury will reign over them. But I hope and pray that this does not happen!” he added.

Trump also mentioned that his threat is a “gift” for China and other countries that actively use the Strait of Hormuz.

In response to Trump's threats, General Sardar Naeini, representing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stated that Iran would not allow the United States and its allies to export “a single liter of oil” from the region, as reported by Tasnim. He added that all attempts by the U.S. to lower and control oil and gas prices would be futile and temporary.

Naeini also emphasized that the initiative on the battlefield belongs to Iran, and it is Tehran that will decide when to end the conflict. He noted that Trump does not want the American public to know about the destruction of all U.S. military infrastructure in the Persian Gulf, including nearly ten modern radars and numerous expensive drones destroyed by Iranian air defense.

At the same time, Trump claimed that Iran has “no fleet, no communication, no air force,” and that the war in Iran is “almost over.”
