Since its opening, the airport's passenger traffic has been steadily increasing. In 2024, it reached a significant milestone — for the first time in the history of Mongolian aviation, the airport served 2 million passengers.
In 2025, the number of international travelers increased again, reaching the mark of 2 million, which also exceeded the figures recorded in the previous year.
