At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Ismanali Joroev expressed the opinion that psychologists should be involved in oncology institutions. He noted that such specialists can professionally and delicately inform patients about their diagnoses.

Joroev emphasized that doctors in oncology centers often immediately inform patients of their diagnoses, which leads to a state of shock and leaves people alone with their problems. He believes that the assistance of psychologists could significantly ease the emotional state of patients.

Health Minister Kanibek Dosmambetov confirmed that he supports the deputy's initiative and is ready to discuss the possibility of providing psychologists to oncology institutions.

In addition, Deputy Joroev proposed creating rehabilitation centers in the regions for children with diagnoses such as cerebral palsy and autism. He reminded that residents of remote villages are often forced to move to larger cities for extended periods to rent housing and treat their children. "It is necessary for such centers to appear in the regions as well," he noted.

In response, the Health Minister stated that rehabilitation centers for children with cerebral palsy are already functioning in Bishkek and Osh, as well as in several districts, but there is a shortage of qualified specialists. He also reported that starting from April 1, there are plans to increase the salaries of medical workers, which should improve the situation in this area.

First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev added that the Prime Minister had previously instructed the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Labor to work on the construction of rehabilitation centers.
